Trent University – Spirit of Trent Award

This is presented to Trent alumni who have made a difference, through contributions to the University, the alumni association or the community. The 2013 Spirit of Trent Award was presented by nominating alum Melissa Fritz-Cherry, and was received on behalf of the founders of Freedom Through Learning by board member Fran Cole, Hannah Lavender, Rebecca Cole-Walker and Robert Cole.

Safaricom Foundation

By joining Freedom Through Learning in a partnership to help provide educational resources for Shela Bright Girls Secondary School in Lamu, Safaricom Foundation endorses the continuing task of improving educational opportunities in Kenya.
