From Korea, with Love
The staff and students of Taejon Christian International School in South Korea shared their time and energy in support of the library at Starehe Boys Centre in Nairobi, Kenya. The shipment took a while to arrive, but it was well worth the wait. It was a day off for students, but Head Librarian Charles Kamonde came to Starehe to meet the shipment as it arrived. Starehe, as a centre for bright needy boys, offers genuine support and a holistic education founded on strong principles of discipline, character formation and leadership development.
TCIS resources also made their way to Logos Christian School in Nairobi. Logos was established to provide an alternative education in response to the growing need for a genuine, Bible-based Christian Education. Several hundred students are educated on two campuses in different parts of the city.
