There are new blackboards in two Maasai community schools thanks to the combined support of several families from Canada. FTL volunteers worked alongside tribal Maasai to install the blackboards in the rustic school houses close to the Kenya-Tanzania border. The school directors are making commendable strides in the area of equal education for boys and girls. Along with the blackboards, learners now have small slates and a good supply of chalk and dusters. FTL is grateful to Stacey Wilkins and Scott McKenzie for their generous assistance with the delivery and installation.
