King’s Christian Collegiate in Oakville, Ontario, Canada has supported a second FTL partnership in central Kenya. Students of King’s collected books to support literacy in the Vumilia Community Library, located in the heart of Vumilia Internally Displaced Persons Camp near Maai Mahiu. These books were passed by hand through Michigan, USA and ultimately to Kenya with the generous support of Partners Worldwide. Freedom Through Learning recruited some students of the International School of Kenya to help deliver the books into the hands of the local library managers.
